Frequently Asked Questions

Favi Tools (formerly OmniTools) is a free collection of online tools by Total Soft Solutions (TSS). These are the questions we hear most.

Are these tools really free with no limits?

Yes. Every tool on Favi Tools is free to use, with no limits, paywalls or subscriptions. The site is supported by advertising.

Do the tools upload my files to a server?

No. Files and text you open in a tool, such as documents, spreadsheets, images, PDFs and archives, are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers. A few tools do contact public services to do their job: live rates, weather, IP and DNS lookups, the speed test and the optional password leak check. They send only what the lookup needs, such as a domain name or a partial password hash, never your files.

Can I use these tools offline?

Many tools keep working after the page has loaded, because the calculations happen in your browser. There is no dedicated offline mode, though: you need a connection to open a tool or reload it, and the tools that use live data (currency, crypto, metals, weather, IP and DNS tools) need one to work at all.

How accurate are the calculators and rates?

Calculators use standard formulas, but their results are estimates for information only and are not professional advice. Exchange, crypto and metal rates come from free public data feeds and can be delayed, so check with your bank or broker before you rely on them.

Is Favi Tools the same as OmniTools?

Yes. Favi Tools is the new name of OmniTools, from the same team (Total Soft Solutions (TSS)). The site now lives at favitools.com. Browsers keep saved settings and favourites separately for each website address, so anything you saved on the old address does not carry over automatically.

Can I suggest a new tool or feature?

Yes. Email support@favitools.com with your idea and what you would use it for.
