Pomodoro Timer
About the Pomodoro Timer
A Pomodoro productivity timer with Focus, Short Break and Long Break sessions, a built-in task list, and daily stats including sessions completed, focused minutes and a day streak. After every four focus sessions it automatically suggests a long break. Session durations are customisable and your settings, tasks and stats are saved in your browser.
This tool works in your browser: the files and text you use are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
How to use it
- Set your Focus, Short Break and Long Break lengths (defaults are 25 / 5 / 15 minutes).
- Add what you’re working on to the task list, then press play to start a focus session.
- Take the break the timer switches to, and repeat — a long break follows every fourth focus session.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
A time-management method that breaks work into focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes) separated by short breaks, with a longer break after several intervals, to sustain concentration and reduce burnout.
Can I change the session lengths?
Yes. Each of the three session types can be set from 1 to 90 minutes, and your choices are remembered on this device.
Are my tasks and stats saved?
Your durations and daily stats (session count, minutes, streak) are stored in your browser’s local storage. The streak advances on days you complete at least one focus session.
Should I leave the tab in the foreground?
Yes — keep the Pomodoro tab active for the most accurate timing, as browsers can slow timers in background tabs.
